PT Berau Coal was established in 1983 and is a at the start generation Coal Contractor. PT Berau Coal produces coal in berau area of East Kalimantan surrounded by the conession awarded to the Company under the Cal Development Cooperation Contract logic established by the Government of Indonesia. PT Berau Coal is a creation venture linking PT Armadian Tritunggal (51%) dan Rognar Holding B.V (39%), a Netherlands company and Sojitz Corp.Other (10%) a Japanese company.
PT Berau Coal is leading thermal coal producers having its surgical procedure in Berau, East Kalimantan, is seeking qualified and qualified candidates to join our company by fill positions as:

1. Infrastructure Development Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• The appointee will be responsible to manage Infrastructure Development section; Provide the analysis of Feasibility study, budget proposal, project plan & schedule, organize and monitoring the implementation for all infrastructure project at Berau Coal site operational area.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience as site manager or similar position, preferably from coal mining industries.
• Having experience handling conveyor, hauling road project or power plant project.
• Holding POM certification will be an advantage.
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.

2. Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

• The appointee will be responsible to achieve export sales objectives within product range or assigned districts; pursue sales leads, promote products, conclude orders, arrange internal sales logistic. Technical knowledge is essential

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mining Engineering.
• Proficient in English is a must.
• Having knowledge about Boiler machine. Minimum 2 year experience in similar position.
• Placement at Jakarta

3. Emergency Response Commander

Responsibilities:

• The appointee will be reporting to Chief ERG and responsible to be an Incident Commander to lead and supervise rescue operation on the area under his/her responsibility and also maintaining the group and the emergency devices/tools readiness.

Requirements:

• Must be hold of bachelor degree (any discipline)
• Have had any previous experience to lead and manage rescue operation.
• Have had any competencies of fire protection, fire rescue or other rescue operation, medical emergency treatment, administration and developing others.
• Emergency/rescue rope technique competency is a must.
• Navigation & mountaineering competencies would be an advantage.
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.

4. Hydrology Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to supervise mining activities in-term of hydrological aspect and provide hydrological risk assessment recommendation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree on Civil Engineering (water resources engineering)
• Minimum 2 years experience hold Hydrological as, preferably from open pit mining industries.
• Proficient on rock / soil mechanic principle.
• Hold POP certification would be an advantage.
• Have good analytical skills for control and problem-solving.
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.

5. Shipping Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• The appointee will be responsible to the Shipping Manager&PFSO for supervising the loading unloading coal activities from barges to mother vessel / OGV (Ocean Going Vessels) and coordinating the transportation to the coal transshipment point.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree on Nautical Discipline of Merchant Marine Higher Education or Chief Mate Ocean (MPB II / ANT II qualification) would be an advantage. Fluent in English.
• Minimum 2 years working experience as officer in International liner, shipping agency or stevedoring company will be advantage. Will be relocate to Berau.
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.

6. Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to supervise the implementation of safety & risk control program base on PT Berau Coal occupational Health & Safety management system and also perform inspection regularly at operational area including contractor in order to make safe operation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering, Geological, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety/ Public Health, Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience at similar position preferably from coal mining industries.
• Having knowledge in OSHAS 18001
• POP/ AK3 Certified.
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.

7. Legal Officer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to support corporate legal aspect; advise department on all legal and regulatory issue, negotiate and review legal document between company and the third party, provide legal assistance on litigation matters if necessary.

Requirements:

• Holds a minimum of Bachelor degree on Law Faculty.
• Having strong negotiation skill and contract drafting.
• Having minimum 2 years working experience as corporate legal preferably in Coal Mining Industries.
• Having excellent understanding on government regulation especially “UU MINERBA”.
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.

8. Coal Technology Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The appointee will be responsible to monitor tender process, DED (detail design engineering) & EPC of 2×20 MW Binungan Power Plant, technical support to marketing division in the matter of coal brand, and other coal technology feasibility study.

Requirements:

• Male / Female
• Bachelor degree on Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy.
• Minimum 1 year experience on Power Plant development project or coal technology feasibility study.
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.

9. Project Plan & Control Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The appointee will be responsible to provide project design, the analysis of feasibility study, budget estimation, and prepare bidding documentation for infrastructure project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience at similar position, preferably from coal mining industries.
• AutoCad literature.
• Having knowledge in PUIL (for electrical engineering).
• Willing to relocate to Berau – East Kalimantan.
